Gettysburg Dead - Confederate - Georgia

 ~A Labor of Love~

What This Is: I've spent the past 5 years compiling a list of those who were killed at the 1863 Battle of Gettysburg or later died from their wounds. I tried to be as thorough as possible regarding if a man died or was merely wounded and recovered, but in some cases information was so scant that a definite conclusion cannot be formed.

Disclaimer: While reading this list, you may encounter (1) human error, as I researched as thoroughly as possible but still likely found wrong information, (2) old records, which were often riddled with errors, and (3) lack of documentation. I fully accept that there will be mistakes, as this size and depth of project is far from perfect.

Sources:"Also For Glory Muster" by Don Ernsberger; "Gettysburg's Confederate Dead - An Honor Roll From America's Greatest Battle" by Robert K. Krick & Chris L. Ferguson; "The Gettysburg Death Roster" by Robert K. Krick; "These Honored Dead - The Union Casualties at Gettysburg" by John W. Busey; "Roster of North Carolina in the War Between the States", various online rosters, and countless hours of research.
